Birthday Party x3

We partied it up Friday night Birthday style times 3! Not only was is Marshall's birthday on Friday, but it was Austin's (Marshall's cousin) Birthday on Tuesday it was my birthday Thursday! So wouldn't you know - Dee got cakes for all her kids and everyone had to sing Happy Birthday 3 times! See all of the candle lighting, singing & blowing above!

And even though I tried to stop him...Marshall got into the cake anyway - but he sure enjoyed it!

It's My Birthday!

Dee made me a great cupcake - cake today...and decided to show up for my birthday celebration! Last year she skipped out because she had to go have Marshall - but whatever! (and then couldn't even bring him into this world on my birthday...nope - had to have his own day) ~ erin

What's So Funny?

Can't really figure out what Marshall finds so funny about his Uncle Glen - but it is so funny Marshall can't even sit up he is laughing so hard!

I can hardly believe he is almost a year old...but looking at him here I can see the little person (the little but very impressionable) he is becoming!

Mr. Marshall Walks

We are WALKING!!!!! Mr. Marshall officially walked last night as he made is way more than 7 steps! I insist I have a gift...first my cousin Chloe and now Marshall! I wasn't going to give up on him - he wanted to sit and I would not let him! I am a hard ass - but guess what...now he will be a hell raiser! And he did it just shy of a year old! Marshall's first birthday is in just 17 days (and mine is in 16 if you are counting).

New Mop

I have always believed in getting down on my hands and knees to wash the floor - but this new mop works wonders!

This is the way we wash our floors...wash our floors...wash our floors

Made it Back

We made it back last night around 7:15pm. Grandma decided she wanted to go home and sleep in her own bed - and that was ok with me! I slept in my own bed and even started some laundry (come to think of it - don't think I remembered to move it from the washer to the dryer this morning - oh well). Will be working on getting more pictures on the WNAX website if you want to see - also have to finish my calendar recaps...here is the one from July:

Heading Toward Home

We are moving back West now with a stop in Chicago tomorrow and then Sunday will be used to make it back. Should arrive in Yankton around 8pm Sunday night! While in NYC we managed to sqeeze in a few pictures of Zach (as he is going to be a Senior this year and I am taking his senior pictures). Zach belongs to my co-worker Steve. Here I am showing him NOT how to pose for the pictures (although I think I was really trying to show him how - doesn't appear that way).

Been having a great time! Can't believe we have been gone 9 days now! Doesn't seem nearly that long - yet it does. You know what I mean!

This is the hotel room we are staying in tonight. I really like the colors and decor! Will have to steal some of these idea for my appartment since I have the same colors in my kitchen and bedroom!

Plymouth, MA

Grandma and I enjoyed a huge icecream cone along the shore line in Plymouth, MA where we saw the Mayflower II (a replica of the original) and the famous Plymouth Rock! There are bigger rocks than this in the fields at home! More on my WNAX blog! Tomorrow we are off to Boston to visit the Freedom Trail. ~ erin

Gettysburg

Grandma and I spent the day at Gettysburg this afternoon. I think she is having a good time - at least I hope she is. There has been a lot of driving - but when we get done with tomorrow - there will just be a lot of going! We leave Gettysburg right away tomorrow morning and head to Plymouth Rock. And then by Monday we should be in Boston. Looking forward to even more the further East we go. Really excited about the broadway show Tuesday night - we are seeing "Chicago". Wanted to see "Phantom of the Opera" but much too expensive. Oh well - will enjoy it either way! Find more on my work blog - I've got pictures there.

Not too homesick yet - but am sure I will get there! Love you all ~ erin
