17 Days Remain

Just checking in to let you know - 17 days remain until the wedding and Jon has just cut the alfalfa, the beans need to be started, and the house hasn't budged in 3 weeks (but we can only do so much)!

The cake, buns & flowers have been ordered. Everyone has been fitted - with my last fitting next week! The food that can be purchased has been taken care of and Grandma Tycz has lined up the Fr Cronin center kitchen for the preparation of all the food just days before the big event. Grandma Wagner is fresh back from Italy and already volunteering to help boil nearly 100 lbs of potatoes!

We met for our last marriage class last night - and I cried and cried. Good tears, sad tears and nervous tears. It was so overwhelming being in the church all by ourselves realizing the undertaking we are about to make... and one neither of us takes lightly.

I want to thank you all for thinking of us and caring about our big day and our little lives! We really appreciate all the thoughtfulness and willingness to help. Be careful - I will most likely be taking you up on it if you keep putting the offers out there!

Much love - the ever closer to being Mrs. Jon G. Sedlacek!

Enjoying the Nice Weather Outdoors

He is sure starting to talk up a storm - and is all about exploring...and yelling at the cats!

Human Dirt Packer

Dad and I worked on the house this weekend as kind of a Father-Daughter day event. Jon was in the field - so we were left to do what needed to be done…playing in the dirt! We back filled 2 sides of the house with only one left to go! Dad was much better at running the dirt packer than I was - so I had to come up with a more creative way of getting the job done! See the video below:

And here is me - the human packer:
