Undies

Brayden wanted to make sure I knew he didn't wear panties - he wears UNDIES! Only when he went to show Mom a few days earlier his undies...the undies came down with the pants. Needless to say - I was a little afraid I was going to get more than I bargined for when he whipped out his undies this time! Thankfully - everything remined contained - barely!

Advent Calendar - Dec 1 & 2

G & G Wagner used to put together an Advent Calendar for me and my siblings to get us in the Christmas spirit. Since I have no children of my own to pass this tradition down to - DeAnna & Loren were kind enough to let me pass it on to Marshall! So much fun putting it together and can't wait to see what everyone thinks of this new tradition! ~ erin

The Cat Wrangler

Mom and Dad set this up - and let the cat have at it with Marshall. Some cute photos for sure! I think Marshall will do just fine out on the farm - he is already keeping the cats in line and like every little boy does (and sometimes I do to) he will be kicking the cats! I couldn't be any prouder!

Photography By Mom

I didn't have to do any of the snapping for these - just the design for the scrapbook. I really like this set up and Dee got some great pictures!

The King's New Clothes

When I took these pics and saw this scrapbooking kit I thought of the King's New Clothes (also known as the Emporer's New Clothes) - the children's story from when I was little. This is a shorten version made into a song. Here is what the page says:

This is the story of the King's new clothes:

Now there was once a king who was absolutely insane about new clothes and one day, two swindlers came to sell him what they said was a magic suit of clothes. Now, they held up this particular garment and they said, "Your Majesty, this is a magic suit." Well, the truth of the matter is, there was no suit there at all. But the swindlers were very smart, and they said, "Your Majesty, to a wise man this is a beautiful raiment but to a fool it is absolutely invisible." Naturally, the King not wanting to appear a fool, said:

"Isn't it grand! Isn't it fine!
Look at the cut, the style, the line!
The suit of clothes is all together

But all together it's all together

The most remarkable suit of clothes that I have ever seen.

These eyes of mine at once determined

The sleeves are velvet, the cape is ermine

The hose are blue and the doublet is a lovely shade of green.

Somebody send for the Queen."

Well they sent for the Queen and they quickly explained to her about themagic suit of clothes. And naturally, the Queen not wanting to appear a fool, said:

"Well, isn't it oh! Isn't it rich!

Look at the charm of every stitch!

The suit of clothes is all together

But all together it's all together

The most remarkable suit of clothes that I have ever seen.

These eyes of mine at once determined

The sleeves are velvet, the cape is ermine

The hose are blue and the doublet is a lovely shade of green.

Summon the court to convene."

Well the court convened, and you never saw in your life as many people as were at that court. All the ambassadors, the dukes, the earls, the counts, it was just black with people, and they were all told about the magic suit of clothes. And after they were told they naturally didn't want to appear fools and they said:

"Isn't it ohhh! Isn't it ahhh!

Isn't it absolutely wheee! (whistle sound)

The suit of clothes is all together

But all together it's all together

The most remarkable suit of clothes a tailor ever made.

Now quickly, put it all together

With gloves of leather and hat and feather

It's all together the thing to wear in Saturday's parade.

Leading the royal brigade."

Now Saturday came and the streets were just lined with thousands, and thousands, and thousands of people, and they all were cheering as the artillery came by, the infantry marched by, the cavalry galloped by. And everybody was cheering like mad, except one little boy. You see, he hadn't heard about the magic suit and didn't know what he was supposed to see. Well, as the King came by the little boy looked and, horrified, said:

"Look at the King! Look at the the King!

Look at the King, the King, the King!

The King is in the all together

But all together the all together

He's all together as naked as the day that he was born.

The King is in the all together

But all together the all together

It's all together the very least the King has ever worn."

All the courts positioned to call an intermission. His majesty is wide open to ridicule and scorn.

The King is in the all together
But all together the all together

He's all together as naked as the day that he was born.

And it's all together too chilly a morn!

Marshall's Bath

I have been so behind on keeping up with Marshall's scrapbook - this bath time was over a month ago - but look how much he has grown since the first bath page I put together! I am going over there this weekend and will have to take more bath pictures as I have them at 1 week & 1 month! He is a little weed that I haven't gotten to see for 3 weeks - I feel like I have abandoned him (but at the same time I have given Dee and Loren a break from me) ! ~ e

A Yummy Soup Kitchen

Shelly from work helps out a 4-H club and always takes election day off to work their annual soup kitchen. Jill, Dee and I all decided to go try out her soup kitchen (actually the 4-H Soup Kitchen) and it was really good! Plan to make it out election day tradition! The company was pretty good too!

I can't believe it has taken me this long to get this made and posted - but Dad did turn the whopping 50 October 19th and we (the whole family) went to see Rodney Carrington to celebrate the momentus occasion! The show was really good and it was nice to be together again! One more time - Happy Birthday you old fart!

2 Months Old!

Marshall turned 2 months old on Tuesday! Hard to believe he has been around that long AND that Dee was gone from work that long! BUT Dee is back! (Yeah for me) and my Godson is growing like a weed. I really like the picutres of Marshall chewing on my arm. Marshall sure enjoyed making me his chew toy this night! But it kept his mind off of his discomfort with the gas he had, so if Marshall's happy, I'm happy!

Vintage Halloween

I remember when Mom would take us around to all the Grandparents for Halloween so we could show off our great costumes...here we are doing just that (like forever ago) at G & G Wagners!

Halloween Costume

I didn't want to go to work as anything...just a little more scary than usual! And I guess I didn't look any different than every other day!

Designer Christmas Cards

I did shoots this past weekend for 2 families who wanted to be able to use their pictures for Christmas Cards, so I said I would do a design for each of them! Here they are...

And not to toot my own horn, but if you like what you see - I can help out with yours too! These are designed to be 7x5 and my charges are pretty resonable! I also like to do 6x4 - they are postcard size and can be sent as such (which means no writing Christmas letters becuase there are no envelopes AND it only costs 26 cents to send)!

Do you think I look like Sarah Palin?

I now have a work blog as well as this one here! I have a little more freedom with my blog here and will include more personal stuff, BUT if you want to take a gander at my work blog (it is the same for WNAX and the Wolf) you can go here:

Now the running thing at work is that I may look slightly like Sarah Palin! I don't see it, but cast a vote for yourself at the bottom of the Drivetime page.
