Bucket List
Kayleen Wagner has made herself a bucket list and eating at Charlie's Pizza House in Yankton was on her list. I went along with Jill, Mom, Linda, Jorda and Ross - to help Kayleen cross another to-do off the list! We had a good time and the food was great!

Gardening
I am growing my very own - very first garden (mostly weed patch) this summer! I don't have a mower, trimmer, tiller... all I have is a garden hoe and my own to arms - and they don't work so well. And it's been so HOTT! I have successfully produced green beans, peas, onions and raddishes. After that - it's not lookin so good. My corn is tassling and I have a few ears - so I am hopeful there.
My best producer has to be the green beans! I have been eating them like crazy and still have a bunch - so I pickled a batch. Again my first ever canning experience. I was too wrapped up in not screwing up to get pictures - but I think I could attempt a second batch! Look to get a jar of Erin's Spicy Pickled Green Beans for Christmas (hey, I am warning you ahead of time)! I did taste test my first batch this weekend - need to lay off the red peppers. Other than that - it worked!

Workin Cattle
The Sedlacek crew got together last weekend to work cattle - they have got a case of summer pneumonia. I helped - and got a few pictures of the crew! It was hot and has been too hot to get through the entire herd. Jon is hoping to finish up today or tomorrow! Had to work more than 500 cow/calf pairs.
It's hard to get pictures of the action when you are knee deep in it!
Grand Champion Radio Interviewer
I recieved my first radio award this past Friday - at the Wayne Co Fair! Dave, one of the fair board members, presented me with a Grand Champion Purple Ribbon for the Best Radio Interviewer at the fair! How proud am I!

My New Blog
This is my new bolg - not sure why I am putting it together - but I thought I needed one. I am trying to get it all personalized with this great blog header from Tina Chambers at Digital Scrapbooking Place dot com, but I am not as computer literate as I thought! Maybe eventually I will figure it out! ~ e
