Bigger Than Anticipated!

We have quite the project on our hands as we are not only adding on a bathroom now...we are re-additioning the addition!

Our (my) First Wedding Present

How exciting...AND SCARY! I got my first wedding present today - ok shower gift from Jill, my maid of honor. The scary part is - this means we are coming down the streach with 300 cows to calve, 1500 acres to plant, a house to build and somewhere at the end a wedding to get through! Ahhhh! Thanks for the gift Jill - you really didn't have to! I will bake something with it for you when you come (if I have a kitchen to bake in). Jon's sister Amanda sent me a Pampered Chef stone as well! YEAH!

We started on our home!

This weekend the weather finally got nice - so we started on our new home! At least it will be new to us and right now all I want is to know we have a place to live, together, once we are married. Saturday we pulled the trees that had taken over the lawn and the house. We continued that Sunday until we were done and then moved inside the house. We removed the big stuff, tore up the carpet in the living room and started removing the sheetrock in the kitchen. We plan to tin the roof this coming weekend! We have been talking about it for so long it is some what of a relief to finally get started! But now I can worry about finishing.

Ann's Bachelorette Party

Not sure if I have told you BUT Jon's sister is getting married 3 weeks after us - also in Tabor. So the month of June is going to be CRAZY! First us June 5th...a weekend "off", then Czech Days the 3rd weekend and Ann's wedding the 26th. AHHH!

Ann had her bachelorette this past weekend and we had a great time. Since our wedding parties are nearly identical - I figure I can count it as mine (since I don't want one)!

Jamin' Weekend!

Dee and Loren went on their first trip together since Marshall was born leaving him behind without at least one parent for the FIRST time EVER! And they choose to leave him with me! WOW - risk takers! We had a great time! I picked Marshall up Friday night from Daycare, we went to the Bloomfield fish fry where we sat by his Godfather Cris (was a Godparent weekend) and slept all throught the night!

Then on Saturday we headed to Tyndall where Marshall got fitted for his Tux for the wedding and got to meet my family! since I talk about him all the time...it was about time they all got to meet. We had a jam session with Dad before moving on to Grandma Wagner's! We would have stopped at Grandma Tycz's too - but she was at State Wrestling all weekend. Grandma Wagner fed us lunch and then we went to Jon's where we took an afternoon nap! Kermit (Jon's Mom's dog) and Marshall did NOT get along...so Kermit spent the afternoon in the basement - but that would be our only hicup!

Sunday we went to the Daycare spagetti feed and then played at home until Dee and Loren got back!
