This weekend the weather finally got nice - so we started on our new home! At least it will be new to us and right now all I want is to know we have a place to live, together, once we are married. Saturday we pulled the trees that had taken over the lawn and the house. We continued that Sunday until we were done and then moved inside the house. We removed the big stuff, tore up the carpet in the living room and started removing the sheetrock in the kitchen. We plan to tin the roof this coming weekend! We have been talking about it for so long it is some what of a relief to finally get started! But now I can worry about finishing.
